Putting Greens
Having your own mini country club setting in your landscaping is one fun project
that also provides entertainment and a gathering space. Those fond of the game may
find it useful to hone putting skills before an important round of golf, or perhaps
Putt-putt. Rising Sun Landscaping and Maintenance has installed many of these
features for our customers. It’s not a miniature golf course, but you can make it as
elaborate as you wish!
Putting greens cost a bit more than the synthetic lawn and artificial turf from which
they’re constructed. Costs are increase upon the size of the putting green, for having
both longer rough-length and short cut artificial turf, and for complex hills. Cups
and short flags are added to finish off the putting green. We recommend putting
greens be bordered by concrete or pavers for a professional look and low
maintenance.
These features are typically low maintenance, requiring little upkeep to keep using
them year round. Rising Sun Landscaping & Maintenance does not install putting
greens that use regular turf or grass because the upkeep on such features is very
high.
Other sports areas in landscaping
If you’re considering a putting green, you may also consider other sports areas such
as for basketball, horse shoe pits, tether ball, and soccer. Rising Sun Landscaping
and Maintenance does not install tennis courts.
